Marine GPS Center Offers Inside Look with New Blog
Punta Gorda, FL (PRWEB) July 2, 2008 -- Noted maritime GPS distributors Marine GPS Center have recently published an informational blog that allows customers to access a greater depth of information regarding products and applications for nautical GPS units. Located at www.MarineGPSBlog.com, the forum is both technical and personal, combining real-life experience with products and industry releases on the subject of global positioning system technology.
"The blog at this time will mostly be for written publications -- experiences that we and our friends have had on the water," says Scott Reichle, owner and operator of www.MarineGPSCenter.com. "We want to let folks who come to our blog see that we use these products on a daily basis; we're not just folks trying to sell a product who have no clue what the product actually does."
Scott opened Marine GPS Center in December of 2007, deciding to combine his experience with GPS products and his desire to operate an ecommerce business. "I've been a fisherman most of my life, and I use a lot of the products that we sell on our web site regularly," he explains. "I felt that was a product base that I knew enough about to start a new business. I've found over time that the Garmin, Lowrance, and other brands of products that we incorporate into our web site have all be reliable, dependable products. Talking with my friends who are also fishermen and boaters, they too have used these products, and are satisfied with their durability and ease of use."
Marine GPS Center isn't merely based in the technical and practical aspects of their products, however; their main product is solid customer service. "I think my customers should know that I've been working since I was 16 years old," says Scott. "I own several businesses, and they are all customer-oriented. Our main focus is to make sure that when someone comes to the web site, if they have a problem or are unhappy, we will take care of their problem and make sure that they are satisfied with their purchase."
Scott adds products to the site on a consistent basis, and posts regularly to the blog with information he has either researched or personally discovered through product use. He is always looking for feedback on his site and blog, and encourages customers to take part in both.
